monsterp69 is selling a vintage Rodney Mullen freestyle deck from Powell. I don’t think we have featured this one before, usually it’s the skeleton on the chess board. The price is a little questionable, but if you can handle it then do it.
sunnyjimjam has another vintage deck for sale. This Skull & Sword deck from Powell is slightly different from the previous ones. As you can see there is a second graphic of a skeleton behind the iconic skull with sword. This version I believe is from 1988.
985barbier is selling a vintage Mike McGill deck from the early 90′s. Not many of these Powell decks survived when skateboarding declined in the late 80′s and early 90′s. The deck is used but the still has most of the graphic. Perfect for hanging.
hspicer_03 is selling that vintage Tony Hawk deck from Powell. You know “The Claw”, the one we all had. This deck is in great shape with Indy Trucks and Bullet Wheels.
all_things_analog has Mike McGill deck from Powell Peralta that has been coasting under the radar. Check out his description he knows more than me. “To start with, when the F-14 was first released in 1981 it came in a 6-ply wood/fiberglass construction, distinguished by the smooth, rounded wheel-wells, and a two-color screen-printed graphic. A 7-ply wood model was then introduced with the traditional, if not trademark, Powell-Peralta wheel-wells and the addition of a short-lived “7-ply Hardrock Maple” tagline* to the same two-color graphic.
At some point in either late-1982 or early-1983, Powell-Peralta added a third screen-printed color to its production boards and introduced a new version of the F-14 graphic—the main difference being a revised rendering of the jet exhaust. The F-14 was eventually retired in 1984 and replaced by the iconic Skull & Snake, an image much more synonymous with Mike McGill.
This rare board is the 1983 7-ply incarnation complete and as originally set up with its independent trucks and g&s yoyo wheels. The board was not abused and is definitely in very nice shape. Original powell peralta sticker is even preserved. There are a couple of minor scratches and divots, but that’s to be expected for a skateboard that was ridden.”
njbulldog is selling a vintage Tommy Guerrero flaming dagger deck from Powell. The deck is used but in great shape. We’ve seen this deck many times before, so what’s one more.
Does anyone how the actual correct way to pronounce “Vallely”?! I always pronounced it the way it’s spelled but I always hear skaters call him “Mike Valley” and you’d think they would know, right? Anywho, jungle1110 has one of whatshisname’s early pro models for World Industries for sale. The deck is skated but the bottom graphic is still pretty decent looking and the top graphic looks great. I loved when WI would do the over-sized top graphics. So cool. Keep an eye on this one for sure because the starting price is nice n’ low.
More early non-NOS World Industries! goldencrow is selling this Mike Vallely pro model for the always-controversial company. This is from 1989, the inaugural year of the game-changing brand.
Whew, another rarity from dissenting-citizen! This is an early Ray Barbee from Lance Mountain’s The Firm. This deck is NOS and features a collaboration graphic from Ray, Lance & Neil Blender! It doesn’t say but I’m guessing this is a slick.
johnmariesshop is selling a vintage Powell Ripper Pig style deck. This deck is worn but there are still some cool stickers, and the Ripper is still visible. The tail is worn out on one side too.
