O.G. ZORLAC MERTZ PUSHEAD STRAIGHT EDGE SHARK
/ 874 days agoI can’t wait for winter to end so I can hit up the Jersey Shore. Rent a little bungalow and spend a couple days in the sand and water. The one thing I will be on the look for is sharks. That can pretty much ruin your summer, hopefully I can find a straight edge shark like the one Pushead drew for Zorlac Skateboard’s pro Rob Mertz. Maybe the shark will be vegan too.garveyburger is selling this deck in as is condition which is not bad. The tail is missing a piece and the grip has been removed leaving residue. The graphic is intact for the most part so it will still look good on your wall. Just so you guys know some fun facts Rob is the owner of Syndrome Distribution which distributes some of the biggest skateboard companies out there, also check out his band ONEXCHOICE they have a new record out on Seventh Dagger. I’ve been looking for a shirt of this graphic. It’s weird to think how many Zorlac skaters were edge and that Pushead was/is edge too, yet they were always seen as the outlaw skate co.
Yeah they come off as a bunch of metalheads because of the Metallica decks but roots seem to be core.
looking back now I wish I would have supported them and not Powell, oh well
Sometime we don’t make the right choices. I remember when I supported world industries and look how that turned out.
Oh man, I loved World, SMA, and Blind and well not one of those companies proved to be worth anything. I don’t even know who to support these days. i used to like Consolidated. Maybe I’ll check out Vallely’s co.
Agreed after wet wiley and flameboy that shit was all down hill
